RHOMBUS OF BUSINESS BY M.Hammer and J.ChampyAccording to Hammer and Champy, every organisation can be described with four main aspetcs which constitute the four edges of the DIAMOND OF BUSINESS.
The project of processes (ways), by means of which a company operates, decides about the character of work-places and the method of classifying and organising the employees. The organisational structure and nature of the ordered responsibilities define the type of management systems which a company must establish and put into practice. The elements of these systems, such as salaries and the ways of work results' assessment, form the values and opinions recognised by the employees, namely the issues and situations which the employees regard as important in their job and pay attention to them. Finally, the employees' values and beliefs must be in accordance with the project of organisation processes and they must support it. It means the return to the first edge of the DIAMOND OF BUSINESS.
The essence described by the diamond is both indispensable and visible - and this is what all our partners notice and react to. It is the system which provides values.
However, for us - in LFP, the most significant issue in Hammer's conception is the visualisation of the fact that the system is neither stable nor long-lasting, and it must be continuously improved as the requirements that the system faces change.
Placing the symbol - "DIAMOND OF BUSINESS" in our logo, we declare our readiness and commitment to the constant improvement of our organisation.
